The session will offer insights into IIMB’s four-year BSc (Hons) programmes in Data Science and Economics

12 November, 2025, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore will host an Undergraduate (UG) Admissions Webinar on 15 November 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, to help prospective students understand the Institute’s UG offerings, admissions process, and campus experience.

Prof. P. D. Jose, Professor In-charge, UG Programmes at IIMB, will address questions on the selection process, academic structure, student life, career prospects, and institutional support available to candidates.

The webinar, organised by IIMB’s School of Multidisciplinary Studies, will focus on the Institute’s four-year residential BSc (Hons) degrees, which integrate analytical rigour with real-world relevance:

• BSc (Hons) in Data Science (with an Economics minor) — designed to build technical expertise in data structures and algorithms, complemented by an understanding of markets and systems.

• BSc (Hons) in Economics (with a Data Science minor) — aimed at developing a strong foundation in economic reasoning, statistical inference, and applied business learning.

With an emphasis on small, collaborative cohorts guided by IIMB faculty, the programmes allow for global exposure to research opportunities, industry immersion, and interdisciplinary thought that bridges economics, data, and decision-making.
